Strategic Growth Partner for the Creator Economy.

We are not an agency. We are not a marketplace. We are not a media buy. We are the operating layer between strategic intent and earned influence — built by people who have lived inside every part of the system.

Founder & Managing Partner

Joette Gibson founded Green Dopamine in January 2026. She has spent three decades as a marketing strategist and a business developer in biotech and medtech, industries where nothing sells on hype and every deal turns on evidence and trust. Green Dopamine brings that discipline to horticulture, a market that runs on trust but had never been built around it. She designed the model and leads the engagements GD takes on.

Origin

How we earned the network.

During my cancer treatment, I spent hours watching Sean from Only Plants. Somewhere in those videos it clicked. I wasn't just learning about plants. I was watching trust move. Sean had earned his audience's belief, and that belief carried over to the growers and brands he held dear. What he showed, people trusted, and they acted on it.

It happened to me. One of his videos, one plant, at exactly the right moment, and I was deep in the anthurium world. Not because an advert told me to, but because someone I trusted showed me something real.
I started buying the plants Sean suggested, from breeders in Indonesia and Thailand I had never met and could never have vetted myself. I trusted them because Sean was willing to bet his brand on them. A recommendation from him wasn't a caption. It was his reputation on the line, and that is exactly why it worked. I bought from grower after grower on his word alone.

That is the insight Green Dopamine is built on. Creators own the marketing funnel now. This is the creator economy, where trust is not bought. It is earned, one follower at a time.
The plant world kept opening up, and not always gently. I was robbed more than once buying online, and instead of walking away I went looking for the people trying to fix it. That search led me to Tanya Quintieri, CEO of Hortikult and co-founder of Plant Provenance, the provenance platform built for exactly that problem. Tanya nominated me to the board of the International Aroid Society, where I now sit as an elected member.

Jorge Dominguez Jr., the aroid breeder, became my mentor, and breeder relationships like Anthurium Story grew the same way, earned through who I was.
That is why Green Dopamine was not recruited. It was earned, one trust hand-off at a time, and it started long before there was a company to recruit anyone to. We did not pitch our way in. We were introduced, because the people inside the system trusted who we were and what we were trying to build.

This is the network's actual moat. You cannot replicate it by writing emails. You can only earn it by being the kind of partner the network wants to keep working with.
